Back to 1981 with this absolutely divine piece of 80s funk boogie from Trinidad soul man Jimmy Ross and a solid treat for the dancefloor “First True Love Affair” (FullTime Production) was co-written by Stefano Pulga and Luciano Ninzatti of the Italo Disco group Kano.
It was Dave Mancuso favorite at the Loft as well as Larry Levan's at the Paradise Garage.
The legendary Larry Levan himself reworked the record and his mix totally slaps in every possible way from the big synth overlays and Q&As and dynamic arrangement that keeps breaking down to the juiciest basslines Levan ever touched. Feel the love.
