An anthem with an early reggae riddim. Burning Spear was an alias for Winston Rodney, one of the most beloved Jamaican singers. 'Door Peeper' was originally released in 1969 on the Supreme label in Jamaica, and later on Bamboo in the UK. Rasta lyrics and musical motifs had been previously adapted for commercial release, but none sounded quite like this.
