12" Vinyl – TRBR002

Originally released in 1980 at a time when the Rockers era slightly developed towards Rub-A-Dub this is a more than heavy re-release of a much sought after collectors item. With Scientist on the mixing board at King Tubby‘ studio it’s the heartbroken singer Linval Thompson who laments over the treatment he received from his beloved lady.
The Roots Radics laid down an exceptional deep one drop riddim at Channel One which fits so well with the mixboard wizardry that Scientist unleashes on this extended mix of „Pop no Style“.
The B-Side features another journey into Dub named „Second Hand Girl“ with Scientist reworking another Roots Radics riddim used for Delroy Wilson’s tune „There is no Sunshine“.
