A Taste is Ricardo Marrero's first LP although it is so rare that many people don't know about it: it was recorded for the Don label, a tiny label run by the infamous boxing promoter Don King, who had picked up their debut single Babalonia, but the band's relationshp with the notoriously difficult Don King soured and the master recordings of the album were somehow 'lost', only to resurface later on the 'tax scam' label TSG without the band's knowledge or consent!
