Whispers is for the most part an exercise in what might have been, and nowhere is that more apparent than on the limited edition bonus 45 from Blue Tandem. Numero Group must have had limited resources for licensing covers for this set, but they used it wisely: this cover of “Dreams” is exactly what you want from a lounge act: lo-fi production values, inspired bar-band musicians and a wildly different arrangement of an AOR staple. Credited Fleetwood Jack on the cover art, Blue Tandem take on the quintessential Stevie Nicks track at almost a shuffle beat.
